  Parwanoo is a small industrial town. Its benefits are Chandigarh is close by and there is a lovely resort timber Trail Heights where you can spend a day. or maybe see Pinjore garden as well. Kasauli is better in terms of scenic beauty and more know as a tourist spot.

  Both can be visited as they fall in same route via chandigarh. Parwanoo has nothing to visit except the Resort (timber trail) with cable car. You can visit it and same day move to kasauli, stay there, visit lovers point (the hill top). Do some shopping. Nothing much there too. It looks good if rains.

  Nice cool place, I was there on Aug 12, nice weather, Parwanoo is not so cool, also if you are planning by own, there is short way from parwanoo to kasauli only 21 Kms. Else you can go via Dharampur
