What is the best route to reach Amristsar from Delhi by car in terms of road condition and traffic and how much time it will take please?

We left delhi by 5.30 Pm and Amritsar by 3 Am. took 4-5 breaks for 15~20 mins each . The route via NH1 is the best . We crossed ludhiana around 12 Am so it was rush free. The road is super good. One of best. many McD’s and eateries on way.

NH1 is the best route, some contsruction is going on but its still OK

By car it should take around 8-10 hours.. Roads are good.

If you take the route via chandigarh instead of Jalandhar-ludhiana, maybe you can reach earlier. Please do confirm this once
