As I would be getting some time off during this summer, I am mulling a family trip to Leh and Laddakh. Please tell me that what would be the proper means to go there and what is the living condition there?

It depends on you that how much time are you having to spend on a holiday. If you are having 15-20 days and you can drive their from Delhi, seeing all the scenic places like Manali, Rohtang etc. Hotels and lodging is no problem at this place, so you don’t have to worry.
I think you can cover Leh and Laddakh along with all the other related places if you reach their by air. The related places here are Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Kargil etc and all have them are having a good hotel facilities.
