In northern India, is there a good place to experience lake side views and boating? I know it’s a boring exercise for some but I love paddling those
twin-seaters.

Nainital is the place to visit mate. The region offers some wonderful lakeside experiences. And not just one, the place has quite a few lakes all around the hill side. These lakes are known by the word ‘Taals’. One of them which, is situated right at the center of the small place is known by the name ‘Bheem Taal’ if I am recalling it right. You can certainly enjoy boating there which seems to be the enticing idea in your tone. Enjoy!
I vouch for the above completely. It’s an excellent realization to see and measure the depth of those small water bodies. Also, the one which is being referred to out above is approximately 110 feet deep. I’m sure this interesting fact would catch your adventure imagination. Even going for a boat drive with the propeller along, won’t be less than an adventure.
