I have realised that trekking is one adventure sport which we can experience in summers as well as winters. However, I am not sure of any places related to that. Please suggest me some.

As this is a summer time, I would suggest you to make a trip to Sikkim or Darjeeling. I am saying this because these two places are full of adventure spots which offers an extreme trekking adventure to the masses. So, if you can bear the cost of traveling, the place is not so expensive.
As per http://vxplor.com, the trekking adventure offered in Garhwal and Kumaon hills is the best one. These places are not so far from Delhi and hence, they are also cost efficient for those starting their journey from the capital.
