Of course, there are several places in Rajsathan which can be toured in a single day, if you are reaching there from Delhi. Sariska is one such place. Besides, the wildlife sanctuary, there is lot more to the place like Siliserh lake palace, Bhangarh etc. If one wants, he can drive there from Delhi and can come back in same day.
I think that if one is traveling around 250 Kms, he should stay at the place and Sariska is not the only thing based near Alwar. The Siliserh Lake Palace based about 20 Kms away from Sariska is also a beautiful place and one can also stay there.
