I am planning a 4 day trip to Bhuwaneshwa…any suggestions as to what are the best places to visit in and around Bhubaneswar?

  You can visit following places of Interest
  Temples, Lingaraj,Raja rani,Kedar Gouri & Mukteswar are must for Orissan style of temple architecture.Also you can Visit Udaygiri & Khadagiri for Jain Caves,Dhauli Gri for peace pagoda where Kalibga war was fought,Nandan Kanan Zoo,one of the best in India. If you are interested in handicrafts do visit Ekamra Haat. If you have time you can visit Konark temple,Jaganath temple & Puri beach in one day all with in 65 km form Bhubaneswar.
