We had gone for river rafting last weekend and had loads of fun. I have heard that rafting season is coming to an end, only 1 week left can someone validate this I want to go there again before the season ends. Would recommend you also to give it a shot, I am sure you would have the time of your life there. Its such a thrilling experience.

I’ve done it thrice now. Season starts in April n goes on till Oct.

Camps usually pack up for higher ground, as water level increases. All sand is covered with water during monsoon season. The monsoon period is not suitable for rafting due to suddenly changing water level whenever it rains in river’s catchment area.

30′th june is the last date
noops most of the adventure activities at shivpuri have already packed up….the rafting would go on till june 30, post which the license for rafting is not given, the season would again start post monsoon…

Rafting in Rishikesh is open from 1st of September to 30th of June every year if the Nature permits. But the date can vary due to water levels. So 30th June is the last day of the season by the Laws of Uttarakhand.
