Thr is no train to Mussoorie. U can take train to Dehradun and thn bus.. train is convenient thn bus from Delhi to dehradun.

Better to go by own car if u have an option other wise you will find lots of traffic in evening time..

I would recommend you to go to Dehradun by train and then hire a taxi to Mussorie

Best way is to Go by Shatabdi till Dehradun as roads are pathetic.Shatabdi runs every day at 06:50 Hrs and you will reach by 12

BEst way is take a train till Dehradun, AC express at nite from Nizammuddin is a gud train Reach Dun by 6 in morning and then ample of taxi available right from railway station

You can hire a AC Bus from ISBT kashmiri Gate upto Dehradun, it will charg you around 180 bucks or so, from there, either you can go by bus to mussorie, generally they take 2 hrs to reach hill top of Mussorie, or if you are ok with hiring a Taxi ( ambassador), you could also do that, last time i went to mussorie in November 2005 and I hired a taxi and paid 500 bucks to driver, not sure whats the present scenario.

wen you reach dehradun Get down from the AC bus at railway station, there is a bus stand over there, from there you can get bus to mussoire for 32rs ticket, bus starts from 6am in morning, and full taxi service is also available, max rs150-200 for a full taxi to mussorie
